These Terms of Service govern your use of the Luxi platform and chauffeur services operated in Gauteng, South Africa. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By placing a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation. Prices quoted include the professional chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, and tolls. Payment is required at the time of booking via our secure payment processor. A booking is confirmed only upon successful payment.
A cancellation fee applies based on when you cancel before pickup: 5% fee more than 72 hours before pickup, 50% fee between 24 and 72 hours before pickup, and 100% fee within 24 hours of pickup. Any eligible refund is initiated after the cancellation fee is deducted. Refunds are usually returned through the original payment source, but in some cases our payment provider may require a bank payout or additional information before the refund can be completed. Processing times vary and may take longer than 5-10 business days.
Guests who book without creating an account will receive a secure access link via email to view booking details. Access links remain valid until the expiry time shown in that email, which may extend beyond the booking service window. Guests may request a new link using their booking reference and email address.
All content, trademarks, and materials on the Luxi platform are the property of Luxi or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
Luxi shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather events, or vehicle breakdowns. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng.
